Battlefords RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Maria Bluebird. The 15-year-old was last seen around 3:30 p.m. in North Battleford on Friday, October 13th. Elderly woman suffers serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle

An elderly woman is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Goderich Saturday afternoon. Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Balvina Drive East and Bayfield Road around 12 p.m. Police say the 87-year-old woman was walking in the crosswalk on Bayfield Road when a Dodge Ram pickup struck her. B.C. mayor: Workers were doing maintenance when killed at B.C. arena

FERNIE, B.C. — The mayor of a small city in southeastern British Columbia says three workers were doing routine maintenance at the ice rink when they were killed by a suspected ammonia leak.
