Canada, U.S. reach deal to lift steel and aluminum tariffs: sources

Canada and the U.S. have reached a deal to remove steel and aluminum tariffs, CBC News has learned.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is meeting with steel workers at the Stelco plant in Hamilton, Ont. at 1:30 p.m. ET. CBCnews.ca will carry it live.

Trudeau spoke to President Donald Trump late Friday morning.
