World Nomad Games begin in Kyrgyzstan

A Kazakh berkutchis (eagle hunter) holds an eagle during the third World Nomad Games in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, Sept. 4, 2018. Teams from 66 countries are competing in the ethnic sport games during the cultural event that runs through Sept. 8. The mission of the Games is to promote the revival and preservation of the historical heritage of nomadic people.
